Ministries
Our primary ministry is the preaching of the Word. This means that everything we do, both on Sunday morning and every other day of the week, is focused on sharing the whole truth of God's word so that our church might grow in knowledge and understanding to be better equipped to share with the community. In order to better equip the church we have various other ministries to meet our people where they are and to give them the tools necessary to share the gospel.
The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse is our children's ministry program. It takes place on Sunday mornings during Sunday School. The focus is on teaching children to understand the story of the Bible and the important truths it contains.
412 Ministries
The name 412 Ministries is based on 1 Timothy 4:12 which talks about not letting anyone look down on you because of your youth but to be an example. 412 is not just a youth ministry but our Wednesday gathering where everyone is encouraged to grow together.
Women's Ministry
Weaver Women have been meeting on Wednesday mornings to pray, encourage one another, and discuss the weekly sermon.
Men's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry is just starting out but is no less important because of it. We are focused on equipping men to be biblical, husbands, and fathers, and growing them to be leaders in the church and community.
Adult Sunday School
Our adult Sunday School class focuses on growing not just in knowledge of God's Word, but on how to rightly interpret the word. We are currently looking at how to rightly interpret the word by looking at some commonly misinterpreted passages and how they should be interpreted.
