Daniel Kurtz

Pastor

Pastor Daniel Kurtz began serving as the Pastor of Weaver Baptist Church in May 2022. With a heart for preaching and discipleship, he previously ministered to students as the Assistant Youth Director at Fellowship Church at Plum Creek in Kyle, TX. He holds a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching and Teaching (2024) and graduate and undergraduate degrees in Theological Studies, Pastoral Counseling, and Apologetics from Liberty University.

Daniel came to faith through his mother's persistent prayers and Christlike love. He and his wife, Pam, have been married since 2012 and are raising six wonderful children. Pastor Daniel enjoys good books, friendly games of disc golf, and spending time with his family.

Kaleb Meyer

Elder

Kaleb Meyer came to faith and was baptized at Weaver Baptist Church in April 2022 and, following a time of intensive study and prayer, was ordained as a Lay Elder upon approval by the congregation in November 2024. In addition to his full-time employment in the utility damage prevention industry, he is also a partner and manager for Weaver Creek Ranch. He assists in the everyday administrative operation of the church and the preaching of the Word, in addition to leading an adult Sunday School class. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from the University of Tennessee at Martin (2023) and a Master of Business Administration from Schreiner University (2025). Kaleb has been married to his lovely wife Ariana since March 2020, and together they are raising four children.

 

Prayer:

“My prayer is that this church would remain faithful to God’s Word and will, and that He would use this church to reach the lost and to encourage and edify the saints in this community.”
